Common use

Finasteride is used to treat hair loss (male pattern). It is to be used only by adult men. Finasteride can also be used to treat prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia. In clinical studies Propecia was shown to work on both the crown area and the hairline.

Possible side effect

Stop using Finasteride and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects: penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer, severe dizziness or fainting. Drug interaction

Missed dose

Overdose

Storage

Store your medicines at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not store them in the bathroom. Keep all drugs away from reach of children and pets.
